The list includes the following types:
- Extended dome tents.
- There is the double-layer type with a full-coverage rain fly.
- Many of the tents are typical summer camping cabin-type tents. More about cabin tents you can read in my separate text.
- There are true 3-season tents.
- There are also examples of true winter tents.
- Some of the tents are freestanding and others are not. But all of them are very tall tents and I would not use any without staking them to the ground.
- Several tents in the list are instant-type, very suitable for groups and families on cross-country tours. About instant cabin tents, you can read more here.
Are they really for 10 people?
The answer is yes and no. There is no doubt that all of them can accommodate the prescribed number of 10 users sleeping in the floor. But only a few of them have extra space for gear, so I would downgrade them all (even the largest ones in the group) for some 3 – 6 people.
1. Dream House 10 Person Cotton Canvas Tent
This Dream House Large Spacious Outdoor Waterproof Cotton Canvas 4 Season Camping Tent is so high here in the list because it offers an area of 215.2 ft² (20 m²). So in view of the declared 10-person capacity, this is a true camping castle. It is added to my list of extra large tents.
This is also a pleasant and breathable cotton canvas tent and with a great waterproof rating. I have included it in my list of best canvas tents.
The tent is 3 meters high and this is why I have added it to my list of extra tall. Note that this is a single-pole structure and you have one room only. The tent is with 2 doors and 4 windows. The weight is 99 lb (45 kg).
2. CORE 10 Person Instant Cabin Tent With Screen Room
This Core 10 tent has many great features and some of them you see already in its name. So this is a 10-person tent that provides around 203 ft² (18.9 m²) of the floor area in its two rooms and the screen room which you see in the picture. This is a cabin type and it is also an instant setup tent with an official setup time of 2 minutes.
You have 4 large windows with mesh and with panels, and two large doors with the same structure. The screen room is without panels so it is not fully protected from the rain.
This is a very tall and pleasant summer camping tent with lots of mesh around and the ceiling is completely meshed, so you have a great ventilation and the tent is most suitable for a warmer climate. Please read more in my full review.
Note that they also have a version with integrated light, the CORE Lighted 10 Person Instant Cabin Tent with Screen Room.
3. NTK LARAMI GT Tent
This Larami GT tent offers 180 ft² (16.2 m²) of the fully covered area which can be divided into three separate rooms. So this is a very large and tall structure with a 210 cm peak height.
The tent is extended dome type with fiberglass poles that create the central dome and two side extensions. As you realize from the picture, the fly is almost full coverage type, only the area around the door is without the fly. But the door is waterproof so the tent offers full protection.
The door is designed with the mesh window so you can still have some view around with such a massive fly. The waterproof rating is great 2500 mm and the floor is a thick polyethylene.
4. Mountain Hardwear Stronghold 10 Person Tent
This Stronghold tent is an example of a tent for extreme conditions. So what you have here is an incredibly strong structure supported with 15 DAC poles with tens of intersections which makes it stable against the winds and the snow.
This is a floorless design but an optional floor can be ordered separately. The structure is fully freestanding and this is a double-layer design with a full coverage fly.
The tent offers an area of 171 ft² (15.9 m²) and it is rather heavy because of so many poles, it weighs 48 lb 12 oz (22.06 kg). This is also an expensive tent and this should not be surprising in view of its features and craftsmanship. Please follow the link for more.
5. Mountain Trails Grand Pass 10 Tent
The Mountain Trails Grand Pass 10 is a dome-shaped tent with extended sections on both sides. So the setup is relatively easy and the tent is a lightweight structure with only 21.1 lb (9.57 kg). This is a summer-tent, and I would not use it in an environment with a lot of rain.
The tent is not freestanding, so bear this in mind when you plan your camping place, you need a ground which will keep the stakes.
The poles are fiberglass and you have them 7 here, all shock-corded, so you will not lose the parts. The two main long poles create the X-shaped central dome.
The tent is with 2 doors and with a cavernous design with windows and extended dome sections. The fly is minimal and it only covers the meshed ceiling.
Key features
- Very affordable, only $113 at the moment of writing this text.
- Great floor area.
- Extended-dome type tent.
- Windows.
- 2 rooms separated by a divider.
- Not freestanding.
Specifications
- Weight: 21.1 lb (9.57 kg).
- Dimensions (L x W): 18 x 10 ft (216 x 120 in, 549 x 305 cm).
- Floor area: 170 ft² (15.8 m²).
- Peak height: 6.3 ft (76 in; 192 cm).
6. White Duck Outdoors Alpha Wall Tent 12 x 14
This tent is with a declared capacity of 10 people and its area is 168 ft² (15.6 m²). Here you have a strong aluminum frame-type tent and the meaning of this term is that the frame is set up completely separately and then you put the tent on. Note also that it comes with a ready Stove Jack and you can use a stove for wood heating.
This is a true 4-season tent and it performs equally well in warm conditions as well as in cold weather situations. You have a fully breathable cotton fabric but the waterproof rating is rather modest 450 mm. The tent is a single room structure with a removable floor.
Its weight is huge, 172 lb (78 kg) and it comes in two separate bags that are 45 x 14 x 14 inches (114 x 36 x 36 cm) and 49 x 14 x 10 inches (124 x 36 x 25 cm). Please read more in my full review.
7. Slumberjack Riverbend 10-Person
This is an incredibly affordable extended dome type tent with the area organized into three rooms. The tent is with an interesting fly that offers a large vestibule and star gazing configurations.
It is supported by fiberglass poles and the fabric is with a 1200 mm waterproof rating. Note that there are three doors here, so I have included it also in my list of tents with 3 doors. The weight is 26.4 lb (12 kg), and the inner area is 160 ft² (14.9 m²).
8. Wenzel Great Basin 10 Person Tent
This Wenzel Great Basin tent has been on the market for many years already. So this is a very affordable extended dome type structure with fiberglass poles and with a partial coverage fly. The declared capacity is 10 people and this is why it is in the list here. The area is 159 ft² (14.8 m²).
The tent has a single door visible in the picture above and it has windows on all sides. The windows are with mesh and with zippered panels. It comes with an e-cable port, Light Reflection System, and a gear loft is also included. You have removable dividers so the tent is formally a 3-room structure.
This tent is best suited for summer camping, the ceiling is all mesh which is good for a warm climate. The packed size is 27 x 10.75 x 10.75 inches (69 x 27 x 27 cm), and it weighs 28 lb 2 oz (12.8 kg).
9. Zempire Pronto 10 Tent
This is a 2-room and very tall structure with the peak height of 92.5 inches (235 cm). This is why it is also in my list of very tall family camping tents.
The tent is supported with inflatable air beams with a single inflation point. You have a huge waterproof rating for full protection and the tent is nicely ventilated. It is very easy to use and reliable.
It weighs 56 lb 6.4 oz (25.6 kg), and the floor area is 156 ft² (14.5 m²). But it has two vestibules that add 59.2 ft² (5.5 m²).
10. Coleman Skylodge 10-Person Instant Camping Tent With Screen Room
This tent offers a floored area of around 155 ft² (14.4 m²), and the space is organized into two rooms. The front room is with removable panels on its three sides, so it doubles also as a screen room. This is why I have included it in my list of best tents with a screen room.
From the name you realize that this is also a sort of an instant tent. Namely, most of the frame is pre-attached, only the front room has a support loop that you add separately.
This is a tall structure, you have a 6.6 ft (201 cm) peak height, and it is nicely ventilated. The frame is a combination of steel used for legs poles and fiberglass used for the roof. The fabric is a polyester with their WeatherTec System with inverted seams.
The weight is 44.27 lb (20.1 kg).
11. Wenzel Pinyon 10 Person Modified Dome Tent
This Wenzel Pinyon 10 Person Modified Dome Tent is a 2-room extended dome structure, with 2 doors and 4 windows, and with an interesting fly that includes zippers so you can open it for stargazing and ventilation.
It comes with an E-cable port, and it is very affordable. The tent weighs only 23.1 lb (10.5 kg) and the total inner area is 155 ft² (14.4 m²), so you realize it is almost the same size as the Great Basin tent from the same brand shown above.
12. ALPHA CAMP 10-12 Person Tent with Screen Room
This tent is relatively low in the list here and the tents are ordered by the floor area. And from the name, you realize that the declared capacity is 10 – 12 people. So the tent offers a total area of 214 ft² (19.9 m²), but the inner area is 144 ft² (13.4 m²) and this is not so much for such a number of users. The tent is with a large screen room and this is what adds to the area mentioned here. This is why I have added it in my list of extra large tents.
But this is a very pleasant and tall 3-room structure, so you have an inner tent with a divider and you have two sleeping zones, while the front is with a screen room. The screen room is without floor and without panels, just a mesh as protection from flying insects, and it is covered from above so you can sit in the shade and also use it for cooking.
This is a framed tent, and the meaning is that you set up the frame separately, and it is fully freestanding. After that you attach the tent to it. But the screen room has its own frame, so you have two loops and it looks like a tunnel tent from this side. This all results in a huge weight, so the tent weighs 61 lb (27.7 kg). Please follow the link for more details.
13. Coleman Skydome Camping Tent with Dark Room Technology 10 Person
Here you have currently the largest tent from the dark rest Skydome series. It blocks up to 90% of the daylight. This is a 10 person extended dome type tent equipped with two floor vents and plenty of mesh on the ceiling for excellent ventilation.
There are two large oval doors on the opposite sides, and the fly is with a high waterproof rating. The weight is 27.7 lb (12.56 kg) and the floor area is around 144.2 ft² (13.4 m²).
14. Ozark Trail 16′ x 9′ Modified Dome Tunnel Tent
I have decided to show this tent without the fly so that you can see its interesting structure which explains its name. So this is a hybrid design with one part which is a dome (it is on the right in the picture), and the other part on the left which is a tunnel section. The structure is freestanding due to the ridge pole which creates tension in the fabric.
The tent is with two doors, one on each narrow side, and several mesh windows. This is a single-room construction. The area is 144 ft² (13.4 m²) and the weight is 30.87 lb (14 kg). You will love to know that this is an exceptionally affordable tent. Please follow the link for more.
15. UNP Camping Tent 10-Person
This UNP Camping Tent 10-Person is an extended dome tent with 2 rooms. I see it best suited for summer camping, it is tall, with 2 doors and 5 windows, and with a great price tag.
The poles are fiberglass, you have an E-cable port, a gear loft, and a few small wall pockets. The tent weighs 23.1 lb (10.5 kg) and its area is around 142 ft² (13.2 m²).
16. Coleman WeatherMaster 10 Person tent
The Coleman WeatherMaster 10 is a summertime cabin-style camping tent. This means it is rather tall, with steep walls, and with a minimal rain fly that covers the ceiling only.
The tent is a nicely built and very livable structure, so you have two doors on the opposite sides and one is the hinged door. The doors are with mesh windows which you can keep partly open even when it is raining because of small awnings above the doors. But you also have several separate meshed windows, and two of them are angled and positioned under the fly, so they can stay open all the time.
You also have ventilation openings close to the floor, and this combined with the ceiling which is completely a mesh will allow for good air circulation, so ventilation should not be an issue with this tent.
The official weather resistance for this tent is only 450 mm due to its PU coating. This may not look much, but this will be completely enough for a normal summertime camping. Note that the floor is a bathtub-style design.
So much mesh on the ceiling and large windows suggest that this tent is not the best option for a cold environment, so use it for summer camping and you will enjoy it.
To set up this tent, it is best to do it with a partner, and this is doable in less than half an hour. Everything is color-coded and this makes the procedure so easy. The weight is 31 lb (14.1 kg) and the floor area is 140 ft² (13 m²).
17. Columbia Mammoth Creek 10 Person Cabin Tent
This Columbia Mammoth Creek 10 Person Cabin Tent is a 2-room freestanding construction with 2 doors. It has 4 separate windows plus 3 more on the doors. This is a nicely-ventilated tent, suitable for summer and warm weather camping.
The poles are fiberglass and the fly is minimal for protecting only the ceiling where you have mesh. It comes with a floor vent and an E-cable port. It is heavy, the weight is 40 lb (18.1 kg) and its area is 140 ft² (13 m²).
18. CORE 10 Person Lighted Instant Cabin Tent
The CORE 10 Person Lighted Instant Cabin Tent is nicely built and freestanding, and its area for 10 users is 140 ft² (13 m²). It comes with integrated lights that operate on 4D batteries, and you have three operating modes. There are switches both inside and outside of the tent. I have included it also in my list of best lighted tents.
This is an instant setup tent with an official 2-minutes setup, and I have included it in my list of best instant tents for camping. The tent is tall and pleasant with its 7 large windows and 2 rooms. It is nicely ventilated and you have many storage elements and an E-cable port. The weight is 47.8 lb (21.7 kg).
19. CORE 10 Person Straight Wall Cabin Tent 14 x 10
The CORE 10 Person Straight Wall Cabin Tent is what its name suggests, a very pleasant cabin-style tent in the best sense, with a very high ceiling reaching 7 ft (218 cm) at the center.
The structure is very stable and freestanding, with 6 steel poles of 16 mm diameter, and 6 fiberglass 12.5 mm roof poles. Note that the stakes are included.
The tent is for summer camping and I would not put it on very harsh tests, such a tall structure with a minimal fly is for mild weather conditions. Though they claim that the tent will keep you dry and comfortable due to their Core H20 Block Technology.
All the windows and doors feature zippered panels for rain protection and for privacy. You have a gear loft with a lantern hook and several organizer pockets included, all very useful for keeping small gear off the floor.
The tent is with a useful venting system that includes vents close to the door so that cool air from the ground can circulate in combination with the mesh ceiling which allows for hot air to escape. Please read more in my full review.
20. CORE Instant Cabin Tent 10 Person Performance
This CORE Instant Cabin Tent 10 Person is formally here because of its official 10-person capacity. But this is a nicely designed tent from their Performance series where it is the largest one. All are built in the cabin style. This is an instant setup design, so it is naturally very easy to use.
The tent is pleasant with its numerous windows. There are two doors and two rooms with a real divider between them. Note also that it is with vents. But its most distinctive feature is that overhanging fly that partly protects the doors and windows.
The weight is substantial, it weighs 41 lb (18.6 kg), but you realize this is similar to the other 10-person tents of this brand. The area is 140 ft² (13 m²) so it is not particularly large for 10 people. The height is very good, you heave 78 inches (198 cm) peak height here.
21. CORE Large Multi Room Tent for Family with Full Rainfly 10 Person
As you realize from the picture, this is a cabin type shelter, and its full coverage fly makes it so different from other tents of this shape. The fly even creates a vestibule in front of one of its two doors. So you have a full protection from the elements, and this is a true 3-season tent.
It has a divider so you can have two rooms, and it also has multiple large windows with mesh and zippered panels. But note also that the fly has zippered flaps that you can roll up when the sky is clear.
The tent is a bit on the heavy side with its 41 lb (18.6 kg), and it offers 140 ft² (13 m²) of the floored area plus 12 ft² (1.1 m²) under the vestibule. Note that it is very tall, the peak height is 86 inches (218 cm).
22. OT QOMOTOP Tent 10 Person
As the name of this tent tells you, its official capacity is 10 people. For this you have a structure with the overall dimensions of 14 x 10 ft (427 x 305 cm), so the area is 140 ft² (13 m²).
This is a summer camping tent that is extremely easy to use, in the group of the so-called instant tents, with 60 second setup time, and I have included it in my list of best instant camping tents. The tent is pleasant, ventilated, and very affordable.
You have a removable divider so the tent is a 2-room type, with 2 doors and 6 windows. It comes with a gear loft, an e-cable port, floor vents, and a great price. The tent weighs 29.9 lb (13.6 kg)
23. Outbound Instant Pop up Tent for Camping 10 Person Cabin
This Outbound Instant Pop up Tent for Camping 10 Person Cabin is incredibly affordable. It is also very easy to use because of its instant design, this is why I have included it also in my list of best instant camping tents.
The tent is officially for 10 people and this is why it is here in the list. For this, you have an area of 140 ft² (13 m²). The tent is built as a cabin-type, and it is most suitable for summer camping and calm weather conditions. The poles are fiberglass, and you have one door. The tent weighs 25 lb (11.3 kg).
24. Outdoor Products 10 Person Instant Cabin Tent
This Outdoor Products 10 Person Instant Cabin Tent is a fully freestanding 2-room structure. It is in such a position in the list here because of its relatively small inner area of 140 ft² (13 m²), but you realize that many of these 10-person tents have the same inner area.
You have 6 windows and 2 doors, but most importantly, this tent can be pitched in under 2 minutes. So this is an instant setup tent with a strong steel frame. It comes with an interesting extended eave technology. There are a floor vent and an E-cable port, and the tent is heavy with its 41.6 lb (18.9 kg).
25. Ozark Trail 10-Person Dark Rest Instant Cabin Tent
Here you have a tent which offers a floor area of 140 ft² (13 m²). The tent is with some exceptional features and the main is its dark rest design. This includes the dark color materials used in its construction, but also zippered panels on the ceiling. These panels can be kept open and you can regulate the amount of daylight in the tent.
The tent is also an instant setup type. So you can pitch this huge structure in less than 2 minutes. The tent is very livable and pleasant, with two doors visible in the picture and with 8 windows. This is a 2-room construction with a removable divider and each of the rooms has its own entrance. Please read more in my full review.
26. Ozark Trail 10 Person 2 Room Straight Wall Family Cabin Tent
This Ozark Trail 10 Person Tent is what its name says, officially declared for 10 people. The area is 140 ft² (13 m²), so it is a bit small for such a number and it is best to disregard the declared capacity.
But this is a pleasant freestanding and very tall structure, and I have included it in my list of very tall tents. The peak height is 86 inches (218 cm). It comes with a removable divider inside so you can create a 2-room structure for some privacy.
There is only one door visible in the picture above, but you have 6 large windows on all the sides, so you have views everywhere around. It also comes with an E-cable port and a great price tag as well.
27. Ozark Trail Instant Cabin Tent with Built-in Cabin Lights
This Ozark Trail Instant Cabin Tent with Built-in Cabin Lights is with a declared capacity of 10 people. Similar to many tents here, this means how many sleeping pads you can put on the floor. So the area is 140 ft² (13 m²) and the weight is 32.6 lb (14.8 kg). The tent comes with 2 doors and 7 windows.
But this is also a tent with integrated lights and it has plenty of other great features. This is a 2-room freestanding construction and it is an instant tent. So I have added it also to my list of best instant camping tents.
One of the rooms is with the design which allows for using it as a screen room, and it is fully floored and protected. This is why I have included it in my list of tents with screen rooms. You have a steel frame, an E-cable port, a media pocket, a gear storage system. Note also that the tent is very affordable.
28. Ozark Trail 10-Person Family Camping Tent with 3 Rooms and Screen Porch
Here you have an incredibly affordable extended dome tent for 10 people. It is large but compact when packed. The area is 137 ft² (12.7 m²) and its carry bag measures 25.5 x 9.5 x 9.5 in (65 x 24 x 24 cm).
It has a great screen porch with 30 ft² (2.8 m²) of space where you are fully protected from flying insects. There is no floor in the porch, only an attached small mat. The tent also has an E-cable port, media pocket, and several storage pockets. It is also in my list of best family camping tents with a screen porch.
29. Tahoe Gear Olympia 10-Person 3-Season Family Camping Tent
This Tahoe Gear Olympia 10-Person 3-Season Family Camping Tent is a bit unique extended dome single room structure, and this is because of its floor plan. The tent is slightly extended on the back so this is not a square structure as you might think based on the picture above.
The tent comes with 3 windows, an E-cable port, floor vents, fiberglass poles, and a minimal coverage fly which protects the ceiling and gives you unobstructed views around through its windows. Above all, it comes with a great price tag.
You probably want to see some numbers, so the weight is 23 lb (10.4 kg) and overall dimensions 18 x 10.5 ft (549 x 320 cm). The floor area is 120 ft² (11.2 m²). Please follow the link for more.
How to choose
As you see the list is very long, so it may be difficult to choose. Here are a few tips that might guide you.
Protection: If you need a tent in an environment with lots of rain, go for construction with a large fly, or full-coverage if possible. The same holds if this is about a windy environment, in such a case also go for a lower and aerodynamic structure.
Setup time: There are instant tents here and those are perfect if you change the place frequently. Some of the tents are framed structures, so this is not a type you would want if you are moving from place to place.
Capacity: All of them are with the same declared capacity and they can accommodate 10 people. This means you can put 10 sleeping pads on the floor. However, there are big differences regarding the comfort/space they offer. So it is best to check the actual size before you decide.
Extra features: I would stress here the following:
- Dark-rest design. This is indeed nice to have because it allows you to sleep longer in the morning and also to take a nap during the day.
- Awning configuration: Such a feature extends the inner space, so you have a pleasant area to sit under the shade.
- Screen rooms: There are different designs regarding the level of protection. In any case, they offer at least a shade and protection from flying insects.
Purpose: This is related to the protection mentioned above. Most of the tents here are for summer camping or 2-season camping. But there are a few that are for 3 seasons and for all seasons. This depends on the construction and the materials used. This also determines the price, so the difference can be drastic.
Final thoughts
So this was my list of the best 10-person camping tents for families and groups, some with truly unique and great features, and most of them with really affordable and reasonable prices. The list will be updated whenever I find a tent worth adding here. This is why you might want to bookmark this text and check occasionally.

if canvas tents are considered to be superior in so many ways, why are they rarely included in “Best of” list?
JV says
Hi Antonio, as you realize I have a few representatives of this type included here. So I cannot speak about the reasons for other authors. I am not even sure that this is indeed as you say, I do not check what other writes. But assuming that this is so, here are a few possible reasons that come to mind.
i) In the group of very small tents, there are no many canvas tents. But I know quite a few and they are excellent. So perhaps the authors of such lists are not aware of such tents.
ii) Canvas tents are usually expensive. So perhaps the authors who create such lists assume they would not sell, and therefore do not include them there.
iii) In many outdoor activities you cannot use them, they are too heavy and too bulky. Think about hiking, backpacking, mountaineering. So it depends on what a particular list represents. There may be more reasons, but I do not know really.

Military uses canvas for most part, you can’t beat waterproof duck canvas, and remember, you can add a ripstop waterproof fly to the canvas tent..
Tracy Shinn says
Would it be possible to consider that while instant tents are fast and convenient once broken they are much more difficult to fix. We had an instant cabin that we enjoyed and camped with many times however there was a thunderstorm with a wind fist of 44 mph and sustained 30 mph. Once the gusts hit our instant cabin tent was garbage. If it had been a traditional pole tent …at least in our research …we might have able to replace broken poles. So now we are left looking for a replacement. My husband no longer wishes to trust any “instant tent”. But your list…while some of these seem to no longer be available is still helping me to narrow the list of possible replacements. I would love a tunnel style but while many come up in searches none are actually available.
Tracy says
Ugh…the typos! Should have put my glasses on.
JV says
I corrected a few, no worry.
JV says
Hi Tracy, I use to say in descriptions of cabin tents that they are boxy and not best for windy areas. So this was the main mistake in your case. But you are probably right regarding the pole replacement, it is usually easier to replace poles in the classic pole tents.
As for the missing tents, this is probably partly only for your location. I know this because I was checking after noticing this, some tents looked unavailable when I checked so I asked people at different places and the tents could be ordered from their locations. Your browser detects your location and you are redirected to your nearest online seller, so it may happen that the tent is not available there but this may not be so globally.
Troy Hemingway says
Hello. I have enjoyed reading all your unbiased reviews of so many different tents. I have a camping business where we set up and take down tents for mission trip groups in Baja California, Mexico. We set up and take down the tents 6 to 7 times a year and they stay up a week or two each time. We have experimented with so many tents but haven’t found that perfect tent that can withstand the beating sun and occasional wind gusts. Still trying to find that zipperless tent. Those darn zippers go and can only be fixed so many times. What type of tent would you suggest for this. They are set up on flat dirt.. Preferably something that would fit 4 or so comfortably though open to larger tents. Thanks.
JV says
Hi Troy, I wonder if you have ever tried canvas tents. The atmosphere they create is totally different from any synthetic tent, and those are really sturdy structures. They are more expensive than synthetic. Note that many of them have YKK zippers and you will not find better and more reliable on the market, check this Kodiak Canvas tent as an example. The same zippers are in this OzTent tent.
In general, go for tents with YKK zippers and then to #10 whenever possible.
As for zipperless design, do not remember any of that type, wonder how they would work against insects. There is no tent of that type here in the site. I added a text on this topic and you can see it here.

Thank you JV. I havn’t tried the canvas tents of of yet due to the price. As with anything you get what you pay for. We have tried numerous cabin style tents but the occasional wind gusts rip them up pretty good so we have been using dome tents for the last several years. Maybe I will try canvas tent and see how much longer they last. At any rate appreciate the information.

Great to hear from you again Troy. Canvas tents are a completely different world, just make sure that they are completely dry when you store them after use. I know that they are used for glamping, they look really great.

Yes you are right, there are so many different tents with a lot of review, I’m so confused and frustrate even information from manufacture but the outcome from other customer kind of different and disappointed especially quality and waterproof…

Hello 🙂 I would appreciate your ideas for a tent that could be left up at a campsite from May until October. At capacity it would need to hold 3 adults, 3 children, 2 black labs – though, most times, 1 adult, 2-3 children and the 2 dogs. Camp is southeastern Ontario, Canada. Thanks very much and I hope you enjoyed the year so far!

Hi Deb. There are many tents here in the site suitable for such a purpose. Though I have no information about the temperatures in the area you mentioned so cannot give a specific model. But I would suggest that you check my long list of tents for cold weather camping. Many of them are true 4-season tents and you will see also that many have PVC windows. In any case, if you tell me more perhaps I could be more specific.
