Here I give the list of the best family camping tents with a full rain fly, all suitable for at least 3-season camping, very reliable, and with an easy setup.
Camping tents with rain fly – about terminology
♦ Some family camping tents are single-layer, which means the walls and the roof are waterproof. In such a case you do not have any fly. Typical examples of this type are the Nemo Wagontop tent and Coleman Instant tent. There are both good and bad sides of such a design, like a good packed size (because of less material) on one side, and the issue of condensation on the other side.
♦ In some other designs, the walls are waterproof and the roof is a mesh. This design is suitable for family camping tents and you should have much better ventilation in such tents. So the roof mesh must be protected and these tents have a minimal fly on the roof only.
You have such type in many cabin style tents and in instant tents. When you see such tents, you realize that such a minimal fly is there also to allow for unimpeded views through the huge windows which you usually have there.
But there are also dome-type tents with such minimal fly. You will notice that these also have a window and a door with the window, so again the minimal fly is there to allow for views. Typical examples of this type are the Core 6 Person Dome tent and the Coleman 6 person Sundome tent.
♦ The third group is with tents that have a full-coverage fly. These are fully double layer designs, so you have:
- an inner tent that contains a lot of mesh, and,
- the full fly which protects the interior.
These tents are generally the most reliable structures (assuming that the fly is reliable and that the seams are fully sealed of course).
In this third group, you have mainly dome-style tents (but not always), and this can be the simplest dome with an X-shaped pole structure or an extended dome shape where the dome is extended on one side or on both.
Below, I give my list of excellent examples of camping tents with a full rain fly, ordered by the inner floor area from the smallest to the largest.

1. Naturehike Dune 10.9 One Room and One Hall Tent
The Naturehike Dune 10.9 One Room and One Hall Tent is a premium choice for those seeking ultimate weather protection and functionality. Featuring a full-coverage rainfly made of 75D 290T polyester with a 3000 mm waterproof rating, this tent ensures you stay dry in the most demanding weather conditions.
The full fly creates a covered living area of 115 ft² (10.8 m²), which includes an inner room with 52 ft² (4.8 m²) of floored space and a spacious floorless porch of 61.4 ft² (5.7 m²).
The fly extends into an awning configuration, offering shade and additional sheltered outdoor space. This versatility makes it a top contender among tents with a full-coverage rainfly.
The pre-bent aluminum poles reinforce the tent’s structure, while the snow skirt at the base prevents water and cold air from seeping in, ensuring comfort in rainy, snowy, or windy conditions.
Despite its rugged construction, the tent excels in ventilation, with four doors, large windows, and two roof vents. Whether you’re braving a storm or enjoying a sunny day, the Naturehike Dune 10.9 offers unparalleled protection and flexibility for your camping adventures.
2. Jack Wolfskin Grand Illusion IV
This Jack Wolfskin Grand Illusion IV tent is here because of its huge fly that covers the inner dome tent and creates two vestibules. The tent offers 53 ft² (5 m²) of the inner floored area, but the total protected covered space is 104.3 ft² (9.77 m²). Its official capacity is 4 people and this is a true 2-layer tent with an inner taffeta and a full-coverage fly. I have added it to my list of tents for cold weather camping.
This is a mix of an extended dome and a tunnel tent with top-quality DAC aluminum poles and a high waterproof rating. The tent has two doors and two solid windows, and it is nicely ventilated with its 2 roof vents. It weighs 14.44 lb (6.55 kg).
3. Vango Apollo 500 Five Man Tent
When you see the picture above, you realize why this tent is here. So this is an extended dome construction with a large floored vestibule supported by one extra pole and under a massive full-coverage fly with an impressive waterproof rating. There are 2 large doors and the tent is also with solid windows.
The poles are fiberglass, and this is a material used in many tents of this brand. The tent weighs 19.64 lb (8.91 kg) and the inner floored area is 61 ft² (5.67 m²). This is not a lot and this explains its position here in the list. But there is also the vestibule area of 50 ft² (4.6 m²). So the total protected area is quite good 111 ft² (10.27 m²).
4. NTK Indy GT XL 5/6 Person Tent
This NTK Indy GT XL 6 Person Tent is an extended dome for 3-season camping with a full-coverage fly, 2 large doors, and an awning configuration shown in the picture. The awning poles are included. It has a huge porch with a removable floor so it looks like a 2-room tent. The inner area is 62.4 ft² (5.8 m²).
The tent is with very good ventilation because of its 3 vents. The poles are fiberglass and the waterproof rating is a huge 2500 mm, as typical for all the tents from this brand.
Note also that this is an Amazon’s Choice product and the price is excellent. Please follow the link for more information.
5. Big Agnes Wyoming Trail 4 Person Tent
This tent has two separate tents under its full coverage fly, so you have the best possible privacy. The floored area is only 67.5 ft² (6.27 m²). But it includes also a huge central floorless living room or porch with its 42 ft² (3.9 m²), plus two vestibules that provide an area of 11 + 11 ft² (1 + 1 m²).
In other words, the total covered area is 131.5 ft² (12.16 m²) and the tent is officially for 4 people only. So all in all, this is a very luxurious camping option.
It is supported with quality DAC aluminum poles, it has four doors, and plenty of storage pouches, plus a backpack style carry bag. The weight is 22 lb 5 oz (10.12 kg).
6. Snow Peak Land Nest Dome Medium Tent
This tent has a taffeta inner tent, plus the full coverage shell which you see in the picture. So this is a two-layer structure that offers full protection in any weather. In spite of the word Dome in the official name, this is a tunnel type tent suitable for at least 3-season camping.
You have aluminum poles, and the waterproof rating of the shell is 1800 mm. The tent is also nicely ventilated, with roof vents and floor vents.
The floored inner area is around 75.3 ft² (7 m²), but there is also the front vestibule which is practically a floorless room where you have around 50.6 ft² (4.7 m²). So the total covered and protected space here is around 126 ft² (11.7 m²) and this is huge. The tent weighs 19.2 lb (8.7 kg).
7. Snow Peak Living Lodge M
Here you have a 4-season cabin-style structure with a full coverage fly, and supported by aluminum poles. The inner tent is relatively small with its floored area of around 76 ft² (7 m²). But there is also a huge porch and vestibules so that the total protected area is around 239 ft² (22.1 m²).
This tent is suitable for any weather conditions. Its peak height is 7.9 ft (241 cm), and this is why it is included in my list of very tall camping tents. You have a footprint included. The weight is 52.9 lb (24 kg) and its official capacity is 3-5 people.
8. Snow Peak Alpha Breeze Tent
This tent is a true double-layer structure. So you have a full taffeta inner tent, plus a massive fly that creates two asymmetric vestibules.
However, its ventilation is excellent. The tent has four doors, and all of them are double layer with a mesh and with a panel. There are also vents on the inner tent and on the fly, plus some extra venting features. So its ventilation is excellent.
It offers around 77.17 ft² (7.17 m²) of the inner floored area, but the two vestibules add around 33 ft² (2.7 + 0.4 m²). With all this, it is officially for four users.
The tent is with a high waterproof rating. It is supported with thick and strong duralumin poles. So you have a full protection from the elements in all seasons. The peak height is 73 inches (185 cm).
9. ALPS Mountaineering Taurus 5 Outfitter Tent
This is a 5-person tent so the inner area which it offers is only 80 ft² (7.44 m²). The materials used in the construction are very durable, the floor is no less than 210D nylon and the fly is 75D polyester. The poles are high-quality aluminum.
The waterproof rating for the floor and the fly is 1500 mm and with such a full fly you have complete protection from elements. There are only very small mesh sections on the inner tent, so it is better suited for a cooler environment. Please see more in my full review.

You have two doors, and the inner area is 82 ft² (7.6 m²). The tent is very easy to use and reliable. It is supported with quality aluminum poles. Note that you have 8 storage pouches as well. The weight is 15 lb 4 oz (6.92 kg).
11. Big Agnes Bunk House 6 Tent
This tent offers more than what you would conclude from its position here in the list where I ranked it according to its inner floor area which is only 83 ft² (7.7 m²). There are two vestibules so the total protected area is 139 ft² (12.9 m²).
The tent is with two doors and two asymmetric vestibules that allow for the awning configuration shown in the picture above. You have top-quality aluminum poles and a full-cover fly and this is why the tent is here in the list.
There is much more, this is a versatile design that allows for several different configurations, including a unique shelter mode configuration and a unique carry bag design. Note also this is a very tall tent with 81 inches (203 cm) peak height.

The inner floor area is 83.3 ft² (7.7 m²), and the vestibules add 16 + 16 ft² (1.49 + 1.49 m²). Note also that the tent is high with its 6 ft (183 cm) peak height and it is very aerodynamic.
14. Eureka Space Camp 6 Person Tent
This Space Camp 6 is a tent from a completely new series by Eureka. They launched it for the 2019 season together with a smaller 4-person tent. This is a tent with very strong aluminum poles, a dome-style construction, but the legs poles are almost straight and the ceiling sections are pre-bent. So the tent looks boxy like a cabin-style tent.
The inner area is only 83 ft² (7.7 m²) but the tent is with two vestibules so the total area is 122.5 ft² (11.4 m²). The vestibules doors are asymmetric in the design, the front one is shown above is with dual zippers and the other is with a single central zipper.

Though the poles are of a different design and the walls are quite vertical, and it looks almost like a cabin-type tent. This is a very lightweight and freestanding structure, completely reliable and suitable for any weather conditions in a 3-season use.
You have 2 doors and the tent is covered with a top-quality waterproof fly which creates two vestibules. The total inner area is 83.3 ft² (7.75 m²) and the two asymmetric vestibules create an additional 27 ft² + 12 ft² (2.5 m² + 1.1 m²) of a fully protected area.

This tent offers a floored area of 83.7 ft² (7.78 m²), but there are also two vestibules that add 27 + 17 ft² (2.5 + 1.6 m²). So the total protected space is large, you have 127.7 ft² (11.9 m²) and for 6 people this sounds very good.
This is a strongly built dome structure with aluminum poles that create 7 cross points, so the tent can withstand lots of pressure. This is a true 2-layer tent with a full fly and inner taffeta with floor vents and roof vents. This is why it is included in my list of tents for cold weather camping. Note that there are many storage pouches inside. The weight is 20 lb 10 oz (9.36 kg), so this is a basecamp tent as its name says.
19. Sierra Designs Nomad 6 Person Tent
This Sierra Designs Nomad 6 Person Tent is from their new series and you realize why it is here in the list. You have two vestibules created by its full fly so the total protected area is 120 ft² (11.1 m²). The inner area is 84.4 ft² (7.84 m²). The tent weighs 12 lb 13 oz (5.81 kg). It is unusual to see a tunnel-type tent in this group, and this X-Loft 6 person tent is exactly this. So this is a double-layer structure with an inner tent and a full-coverage fly. When covered with the fly it looks like a dome tent.
The tent offers 85 ft² (7.9 m²) in the inner tent and there are also two vestibules with a total area of 46.5 ft² (4.3 m²). The fly creates two useful vestibules so the total inner area is 87.2 ft² (8.1 m²) plus 32 ft² (3 m²) under the two vestibules combined.
The tent may look low in the picture, but it is surprisingly tall for such a type with a peak height of 76 inches (193 cm). The weight is 17 lb 3 oz (7.8 kg).
It comes with a feature unique to Kelty, and they call it Quick Corners design. So you have no grommets in the corners, they have added some sleeves that keep the poles in place and they will not jump out when you go to the other side to fix the pole in another similar corner.

It comes with a high waterproof rating and aluminum poles for full protection in a 3-season use. The tent has 2 unusual fly windows, 2 huge doors, and it is very tall. The weight is 17.85 lb (8.1 kg) and the area is modest for its declared 6-8 person capacity, it offers 90.3 ft² (8.4 m²). In view of this, it can accommodate up to 6 people and I have added it also to my list of best 6 person tents.
31. Big Agnes Flying Diamond 6
This is one of the most versatile tents here and on the market in general, with many exceptional features. You have 2 rooms here, created by a removable divider.

The tent is with 2 fiberglass poles and 1 door. There are vents on the fly, you need such a feature with such a full fly. You will want to know that the tent is very affordable.
35. Marmot Halo 6P Tent
This interesting design includes an innovative encircling overhead pole and this is the reason for the word ‘halo’ in its name. The tent is formally a dome shape, but the extra halo pole shown in the picture above adds lots of interior volume.
You have no less than 96.7 ft² (9 m²). of the inner floor area here, plus 64 square feet (6 m²) under the vestibules. So this is a very livable construction with lots of floor and elbow room. Two large doors only add to this overall feeling. The poles are top-notch DAC Press-Fit aluminum.

The wall material is a durable 68D polyester taffeta and the floor is 150D with a 3000 mm waterproof rating. The mighty fly which creates two vestibules is a ripstop polyester 68D 210T with an 1800 mm rating. The interior height is impressive for a dome tent, you have 76 inches (192 cm) in the center.

Here you have an instant setup tent and it is also a cabin type. So it is easy to use as expected from such a design. But it is here because of its full coverage fly. As you know, cabin type tents with such a fly are not so frequent on the market.
From the picture you see that the fly is designed so that you can roll it up and have views around when it is not raining.
The tent can be described as fully freestanding, and it is supported with a strong steel frame.
There are 3 separate windows, plus one window on its door. The tent weighs 23 lb (10.4 kg), and its floor area is 99 ft² (9.18 m²).
38. Sierra Designs Alpenglow 6 Person Tent
As you realize from the picture, here you have a full coverage fly that creates a large vestibule. The fabric is with a very high waterproof rating. The structure is supported with fiberglass poles, and you also have an E-cable port.
The tent is an extended dome style and very easy to use. This is also a dark rest shelter, they claim it blocks 98% of the daylight, so it is included in my list of best dark rest tents.
The weight is 18 lb 5 oz (8.3 kg), and the inner area is 100 ft² (9.2 m²). The vestibule adds around 18.3 ft² (1.7 m²).
39. ALPS Mountaineering Taurus 6 Tent
The Taurus 6 is from a series that includes tents for 2, 4, and 6 people. These are tents with a very simple structure, only 2 fiberglass poles, but you have 2 doors and 2 large vestibules. Note that the fly is with solid windows.
The tent is nicely positioned here in the list in view of its good size. The inner area is 100 ft² (9.3 m²) but you also have two vestibules that add 45.5 ft² (4.2 m²). So the total protected area is 145.5 ft² (13.5 m²).
The waterproof rating is very good, you have 1500 mm for the fly and 2000 mm for the floor. This is all quite durable polyester. Please read more in my full review.
40. Browning Echo 6-Person Tent
This is a very light and compact 3-season tent with a full coverage fly and 2 vestibules. The weight is great 13 lb 3 oz (6 kg), and you have 100 ft² (9.3 m²) of the inner floored area.
The mentioned vestibules add 15 + 15 ft² (1.4 + 1.4 m²), so this is lots of extra space for storage of gear. The tent is supported with quality aluminum poles, and the whole package is ultra compact. So it is light and small enough even to be carried on the trail if the weight is shared among users.
You also have two doors, and there are two fly vents as well. So it is indeed hard to find objections to this tent.
41. NTK Omaha GT 6 Person Tent
This Omaha GT 6 tent offers 100 ft² (9.3 m²) of the inner floor area and 48 ft² (4.4 m²) under its two vestibules created by the full fly. The fly is with two vents and two large vestibule panels that allow for the awning setup which is shown in the picture (the poles shown are steel and they are included in the package).
You have a 2500 mm waterproof rating for the fly, and the floor is a thick seamless polyethylene, so the tent offers full protection from elements. The poles are fiberglass and there are three of them; two create a dome structure and the third is used to support the larger of the two vestibules.
Note that the tent is heavy because of those poles, it weighs 24.9 lb (11.3 kg) but the packed size is excellent and the same holds for the price, this is a very affordable tent. Please follow the links for more.
42. Sierra Designs Tabernash 6 Person Tent
The Sierra Designs Tabernash 6 Person Tent is a simple dome-style shelter with a full-coverage fly. You have a peak height of 72 inches (183 cm), and the tent is roomy with its 100 ft² (9.3 m²) of area. Note that you also have 27 ft² (2.5 m²) under its vestibule.

43. NTK Arizona GT 7 to 8 Person Tent
This NTK Arizona GT 7 to 8 Person Tent is a new tent on the market. This is a reliable extended dome tent with 2 doors and 2 windows, with a full-coverage fly, and a great waterproof rating. Those windows are with mesh and with zippered panels that can be open from the outside. This all makes it suitable for 3-season use.
The poles are fiberglass. It also offers an awning configuration so this extends the covered area so you can sit in the shade or use it for cooking. The tent weighs 24.9 lb (11 kg) and the inner area is around 101 ft² (9.4 m²).
44. Big Agnes Bunk House 8 Tent
This tent is here because of its impressive fly that creates two symmetric vestibules where you have 25 + 25 ft² (2.3 + 2.3 m²) of protected space for gear.
It is also the largest tent in their Bunk House series of tents that are all completely different. But for an 8-person tent, its floored area is not so big, you have 104 ft² (9.7 m²).
This is a very tall tunnel type and freestanding 2-room shelter. So you have a peak height of 82 inches (208 cm). The tent is supported with quality DAC aluminum poles, and the fabric is a polyester with a 1500 mm waterproof polyurethane coating. All seams are taped.
There are no less than 16 interior mesh pockets, simply incredible. The tent comes with a backpack-style carry bag with adjustable shoulder straps, webbing handles, and with a zip closure. The weight is 22 lb 15 oz (10.4 kg).
45. NTK Colorado GT 8 to 9 Person Tent
This NTK Colorado GT 8 to 9 Person Tent is a full-coverage dome-style 3-season tent with two vestibules and two doors, a 2500 mm high waterproof rating, and an incredible price. Because of the vestibules, it is semi-freestanding, but the setup is very easy.
The tent is in this position in the list because of its size. So you have 120 ft² (11.16 m²) of the inner area, plus around 39 ft² (3.6 m²) under vestibules and this is more than many of the tents here offer.
It comes with fiberglass poles and with a bathtub floor construction where they use polyethylene so you are safe from groundwater. There is also an e-cable port, a couple of wall pockets, and a lantern loop.
46. Big Agnes Mad House Mountaineering Tent 8
This Big Agnes Mad House Mountaineering Tent 8 Person is here because of its full fly that offers complete protection from elements. But this is a true two-layer structure with an inner tent which is all taffeta. The inner tent has several mesh sections but they all can be zipped and closed. They match the 6 vents on the outer shell, you can see some in the picture above.
The tent is with two doors on the opposite sides and two vestibules that give plenty of storage space. As you realize from the picture above, the door design allows for an awning configuration with the help of trekking poles, or any poles in general.
There are 16 storage pouches in the tent, the poles are aluminum and the same is with stakes. The tent’s inner area is 124 ft² (11.5 m²). Please follow the link for more.
Note that they have a 6-person version of this tent, the Big Agnes Mad House Mountaineering Tent 6 Person.
47. Marmot Limestone 8 Tent
The Limestone 8 is only by the name similar to its smaller cousin Limestone 6 presented above. In this case, you have an extended dome-style tent with an extra room in the extended section which you see in the picture above. This is what makes this tent very special here in the group; it is formally a 2-room tent.
The tent has 2 doors and it is a very reliable tool for 3-season use, with 5 DAC DA17 color-coded poles, and fully waterproof.
The floor area is 130 ft² (12 m²), and you have extra covered space under the vestibules which adds 32 ft² (3 m²). The picture above shows it with the fly which is with this front vestibule that allows for several configurations, including the awning setup.
48. Coleman Octagon 98 Full Fly Tent
Here you have a cabin-style tent with steep walls and with an interesting feature visible in the picture, and this is the hinged door on the front. The inner tent is mainly a mesh in the upper part, and the fly is with 6 vertical zippers that you can open and have panoramic views. It comes with a removable divider inside, so formally this is a 2-room tent.
The declared capacity is 8 people, but the floor area is only 122 ft² (11.3 m²), so better downgrade the capacity by half if you use it for family camping. The tent is really livable and pleasant, and it offers full protection from elements. The rating by users on Amazon is exceptionally high, 4.5/5. Please see more in my detailed review.
49. The North Face 2-Meter Dome tent 8
This North Face 2-Meter Dome tent 8 is a true winter tent built for the harshest conditions. This is a two-layer structure with both layers having a 1500 mm waterproof rating, and a floor with a 10000 mm waterproof rating. This is a hemisphere construction that is able to withstand the strongest winds in Antarctica and in the Himalayas.
The tent offers an area of 125 ft² (11.6 m²). There are 12 Easton aluminum poles, and the fabric is very strong here as you would expect from such a tent, you have 210D and 420D nylon oxford. Note that this is an incredibly expensive tent, with a price tag close to $5000. Please follow the link for more.
50. Core 9 Person Instant Cabin Tent with Full Rainfly
From the list you realize that there are no many cabin type tents with a full coverage fly, they are rare in general.
So this is a nicely built tent with a full fly that also offers a relatively small vestibule. There are two doors and two rooms, and you also have several large windows.
The frame is a strong steel that is pre-attached to the tent, so this is an instant setup tent, all is easy to use because of its telescopic poles. You only add the fly separately. The official setup time is 2 minutes only.
The weight is 36 lb (16.3 kg), its official capacity is 9 people, and you have an inner area of 126 ft² (11.7 m²).
51. Marmot Guest House 6-Person Tent
This tent is in such a position here in the list because of its big area which is no less than 129.3 ft² (12.1 m²). But it has vestibules as well so the total covered area is 163.3 ft² (15.3 m²).
This is an extended dome construction with 4 doors and 2 rooms, and with the mentioned 3 vestibules. The tent is very tall with a peak height of 76 inches (193 cm) so this is a pleasant structure that offers full protection from elements.
The poles are top quality DAC aluminum and the fly is with 1500 mm waterproof rating. The floor is with a 2000 mm rating. There are vents on the fly and the inner tent is with many storage pockets. I have included it also in my list of best 6-person tents.
52. CORE Large Multi Room Tent for Family with Full Rainfly 10 Person
Here you have a cabin type shelter, but it has a full coverage fly, and this is what makes it so different from most of other cabin style tents. With such a fly you have a full protection from the elements, so I would describe it as a true 3-season tent.
There is a divider so you can have two rooms, and it also has multiple large windows with mesh and zippered panels. But the fly has zippered flaps that you can roll up when the sky is clear.
The tent is a bit heavy with its 41 lb (18.6 kg), and it offers 140 ft² (13 m²) of the floored area, plus 12 ft² (1.1 m²) under the vestibule which you see in the picture. Note that it is also very tall, the peak height here is 86 inches (218 cm).
53. Geertop Large Family Camping Tent 6 Person
The Geertop Large Family Camping Tent 6 Person offers full protection with its full fly and a 2500 mm waterproof rating. All seams are taped. The floor is a 50D Oxford polyester with a waterproof coating of 3000 mm.
This is an impressive and very unique dome-style construction. You have aluminum poles, two doors, and numerous windows.
The overall dimensions are 192.91 x 127.95 inches (490 x 325 cm), and the area is around 151 ft² (14 m²). The tent weighs 19.4 pounds (8.8 kg), and its peak height is 70.86 inches (180 cm).
54. NTK Super Arizona GT Tent
The full coverage fly tents are usually smaller structures as you realize from the examples above. But this NTK Super Arizona is a great exception. You have 210 ft² (19.5 m²) of floor area here and the tent is very tall, with a peak height of 83 inches (210 cm). If you feel that this is too big for you, note that they have also a 9-person version.
So this is a 2-room structure with an awning configuration and it is suitable for 3-season use. It is quite elongated and it looks like a tunnel tent, but this is a rather specific extended dome tent. You have two entry doors here and the waterproof rating is quite impressive 2500 mm. I should add also that it comes with a really fair price tag. Please read more in my full review.
55. Mountain Hardwear Space Station Tent 15-Person
The Mountain Hardwear Space Station Tent 15-Person 4-Season is a true double-layer tent with two waterproof covers. So it deserves to be here. It is floorless as usual with expedition tents of this type. The tent is very tall with an inner peak height of 101 inches (257 cm). I have included it also in my list of very tall camping tents.
It is also fully freestanding and supported by top quality DAC aluminum poles. The tent is suitable for all seasons, it has 11 vents.
The total area is 284 ft² (26.4 m²) and this is why I have included it also in my list of extra large camping tents. The weight is 85 lb 13 oz (39 kg).
Final thoughts
So this was my list of family camping tents with a full rain fly, and as you realize you have a plethora of options to choose. This can be confusing indeed, so perhaps this may help a bit:
- All of them are at least 3-season tents, and they all provide full protection for such a use. So these are reliable tools, and you can only check their features in detail to see what suits you best, and check the prices as well.
- But some of them are even more than that, so, for example, you have the Big Agnes Flying Diamond 6 which is described as a 3-season-plus tent. See also The North Face 2-Meter Dome tent 8.
- If you need some privacy in the tent, note that some of them have dividers to create rooms. For example, you have this feature in the Big Agnes Flying Diamond 6 and also in the Marmot Limestone 8 Tent.
- The lightest option is the Eureka Midori 6 tent. This is also one of the most affordable and most packable options.
So thank you for reading. Please use the comment box below if you would want to add something or if you have some questions. I wish you a nice day.

wow, lots of good info so first off thanks! i really like the recommended marmot guest house 6, but as you say it is fairly expensive… whats the next you would recommend? i want something greater than 83sqft and at least 76” in height. was looking at the big agnes bunk house 6 but got turned off by the non vent issue you mentioned.
JV says
Hi, it is difficult to recommend something without knowing what you would want to have. The sizes you mentioned are on the bottom of the list, the tents are ordered by the area. You will see great options and those are all the best-known brands. It will depend on the features and price. If you let me know I can say more. But check some of those NTK tents, they are usually affordable and very reliable.
