Overview
This Coleman Blue Aspen 6L Tent was built for the EU market, so it has all the usual features of family camping tents that are designed for that area. This implies multiple rooms, large solid windows, huge waterproof rating, etc.
So here you have no less than 4 rooms, plus a large porch which is deep and reasonably well protected. There are three sleeping rooms within the inner tent where you have removable dividers, and a large living room in front of it. The pictures below show its floor plan and the most important dimensions.
The porch area is very large and deep enough to have a couple of camping chairs and a side table underneath it, so here you can sit in the shade, and do cooking as well. Because of all these rooms, the tent is included in my list of best tents with 4 rooms.
The tent has two external doors, one of them is shown above and you see it is fully protected under the porch. Note that the floor on the porch door can be made flat. This drop-down design for a barrier-free access is convenient for people with wheelchairs and also if you camp with children. The same feature you have in their smaller Coleman Tent Vail 4 Person.
There are also 3 inner doors on the mentioned sleeping area, see the picture below. All of them are full-height and D-shaped.
There are 7 separate windows and they are solid and translucent with inner shatters for privacy, see the picture below. Note that two of them are in the porch area:
The tent is non-freestanding as typical for such tunnel-shaped constructions. Observe that it is very tall with its 210 cm peak height.
Materials
The poles: You have 5 shock-corded fiberglass poles. This is now commonly used material but it needs careful handling. Note that the roof segments are pre-bent so this gives more volume and the side sections are almost straight. The poles attach at the tent’s base with the usual pin-and-ring system.
On the top you have long sleeves, this is good to spread pressure over long surface, so that poles do not break under sudden winds. On the sides the attachment is with clips.
The fabric: The shell fabric is a PU coated 68D polyester with a 4000 mm waterproof rating. So this is excellent value and you will never need more. All seams are factory taped.
The floor is a durable polyethylene with welding, bathtub shape, so you are fully protected from the groundwater. Observe that the inner tent has its own sealed floor, and you also have the shell floor underneath it which is fully sealed.
They write that these are fire-retardant materials and also with UVGuard that provides an SPF50 protection level to protect you and your family from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays.
Ventilation
The tent has all ventilation features that are expected from such construction. So the inner tent is separated from the shell, it hangs attached by straps and toggles. This allows for air circulation between the two layers.
The inner tent is breathable, and the three inner doors have mesh in the upper parts for ventilation. But they have also added several vents. Two vents are under the side windows in the living room, one is shone below, it is behind the yellow strap. In addition, there is also a rear vent on the shell tent behind the inner rooms.

Who is this Coleman Aspen 6L Tent for
Regarding the area, the tent is officially for 6 people. For this, when the inner tent is inside, you have the total floored space of 207 ft² (19.26 m²). This means 34.5 ft² (3.21 m²) per person, and this is huge. This is why I have included this tent in my list of extra large family camping tents.
The inner tent’s rooms offer around 88.2 ft² (8.19 m²) in total, and you have around 119 ft² (11.07 m²) in the living room. So the living room is larger, and here there is place for at least 6 more people. Note that the floor is fully sewn-in so you have full protection in the living room as well.
Regarding seasons & climate, the tent is built for the EU market and this means the northern and central parts, so it is best suited for a cooler climate. But the tent is a true 3-season shelter and you will be fully protected from the elements.
Regarding the weight, this is not its best feature, the tent weighs 55.56 lb (25.2 kg). But it is huge in every sense so there is reason for such a weight.
The packed size is a bit better, it measures 24.8 x 16.5 x 14.2 inches (63 x 42 x 36 cm). But all in all, this is a car camping tent.
Regarding the price, I would say it is fair for such a gigantic tent and with such features.

Final thoughts, rating, pros & cons
In summary, this Coleman Aspen 6L Tent is incredibly spacious and pleasant with its high roof and numerous solid windows. The inner organization of space separated into 4 rooms is excellent. Note that you can remove some of the inner dividers and have 3 or fewer rooms if you wish.
The whole inner tent can be removed so you can have the shell alone and you will still have full protection from the rain. This is how you can use the tent for family events in the garden. Fully recommended.
