The Easy Camp Moonlight Yurt Tent is a freestanding tall and pleasant ventilated tent with solid and mesh windows, easy to use, and with a fair price tag.

Overview
So here you have a dome-shaped tent with a hexagonal base. But its leg poles are pre-bent so the side walls are almost vertical, and you have a feeling of a cabin type tent.
It is fully freestanding but you have all gear included to stake it properly to the ground. The floor plan picture below reveals how its base looks. The tent is a single-door and single-room construction.
The tent is also very tall for its overall size, you can see some numbers below. You have a stand-up height almost everywhere in the tent. This is why I have added it to my list of very tall tents.
Windows
There are three windows in total, two of them are solid windows with inner panels for privacy. The third window is on the door and here you have mesh and zippered panel.
Materials
The poles: There are 3 shock-corded fiberglass poles and they are all the same size so there is nothing to guess which goes where.
The fabric: The fly is minimal and it covers only the top, this is a 185T polyester PU coated, fire retardant, and with a 3000 mm hydrostatic head. All seams are taped. The same material is used for the walls.
The floor is a bathtub type polyethylene but with a lay-flat entry suitable for kids running around and also for people with wheelchairs. It has two short zippers on the sides for this purpose. But it can be fully zipped to the door.
Other details
- There are 3 storage pouches under each of the two solid windows, so 6 in total.
- A lantern hanging loop is on the ceiling and two more in the corners of the ceiling.
- There are loops in each of the top corners so you can route a string around.
Ventilation
The tent is nicely ventilated. You have already seen about its front mesh window. There are also three large triangular mesh sections on the ceiling, you can see them partly in the picture above. But they have added also a rear floor vent shown below. This should create lots of vertical air circulation.

Who is it for
Regarding the area, they do not provide the exact number but this is a hexagon and its area is around 94 ft² (8.7 m²). The tent is officially for 6 people, so this would give 15.6 ft² (1.45 m²) per person. This is not a lot so for real camping it is best to downgrade the number of users to 4 maximum.
Regarding seasons & climate, the tent is very tall and boxy and with a partial coverage fly. So it is best to avoid windy places with such a structure.
On the other hand, it is nicely ventilated yet the ceiling mesh areas are not closable. This is why I see it best suited for up to two seasons in the warmer part of the year.
Regarding the weight, the tent weighs 23.4 lb (10.6 kg) so it is a bit heavy for its size, but it us tall as you have seen. The packed size is also substantial but you can transport it even on a motorbike.

Final thoughts, rating, pros & cons
So this Easy Camp Moonlight Yurt Tent looks really cool with its solid windows, it is tall and pleasant and nicely ventilated. The poles are all the same so it is easy to set it up. The price is appropriate for such a tent. It is a bit heavy and bulky but this is a camping tent and it is not designed to be carried anywhere.

Good for not rainy days. To much ventilation. Leak after two use.
That is a shame for the brand. I wonder if you have tried to get some explanation from them. I have just been in the mountains with my new Snow Peak Alpha Breeze tent, sometimes with rain all the long night yet without a drop water inside.
