Overview
This Zempire Aero TL PRO Series Tent is an impressive construction with so many great features that it is hard to choose where to start. As a start, some of its features are mentioned in the picture below.
Regarding the general shape, the tent is very tall so you have a stand-up height in the biggest part of it. Some numbers related to its height are given in the picture:
Inflatable tent
So this is a tunnel-type tent, elongated and supported by inflatable air beams. You have them 4 and each of them has its own valve. As usual with such tents, the setup is very easy and one person can make this tent ready in 10-15 minutes. This is why I have included the tent in my list of best inflatable tents.
How many rooms and doors?
Below you have the floor plan and some numbers. So on the right there is a sleeping area, and this is a tent within the shell tent. Here you have an inner zippered divider, so you can have one or two bedrooms.
The inner tent is with its own sewn-in and sealed floor, and there are two inner doors here.
In the middle (the gray area) you have a large living room which is under the shell. Note that it is with its fully sewn-in and sealed floor. This floor extends under the inner tent as well, so there you have two floor layers one above another.
The living room has no less than 3 doors. Two of them are on the long sides, and one of these side doors has a small awning (see the picture below). So this is a dry entry point, very useful to have when it is raining.
The tent is shown above when the front wall is unzipped. So you can understand this as one large front door, and this would mean that the shell tent has 3 doors. However, this front includes a 3 stage door and it can be used in three different ways, and this would make 5 doors in total on the shell tent.
The door on the front is with a 360 degrees zipper, so you can unzip it completely and store in the pocket on the side. All these doors are with mesh and with panels. Below you see the front awning created with the help of poles that are included in the package.
In the floor plan shown previously, you can also see a porch on the left side. This is a floorless area, but it can be fully closed as shown in the top picture above. The gigantic front wall/panel has solid windows in it. So this front space is more than just a porch. I see it as an extra floorless room, but it is without protection against crawling insects.
All in all, the tent has 3 rooms in the floored area plus a floorless front space that is fully protected from the rain. Below you can see the inner bedrooms.
Advanced and unique windows
There are officially 9 windows here, but it all depends on how you count them. Some are separate and some are on the doors, and some have sections with mesh and with PVC. So this is a unique design in many ways.
On the sides you can see those triangular windows. These are tinted solid windows and also mesh windows, the same on both sides.
There are also roof windows, they are solid and tinted. The side doors are with mesh so you can use them as windows when the sky is clear. The door in the porch you can keep with the mesh all the time if you are not cold.
There is a rear window shown in the picture above, see the picture above. It is huge and you can use it as a back vent because it is double layer with mesh and panel. Below you can see how it looks when the panel is closed.
One great feature related to the windows is the gusseted panel design on those mentioned triangular windows. It includes two zippers on each side, so you can use it so that you have more ventilation when needed, even when it is raining outside. You can see this in the first picture below, note that you still have privacy in this ventilation setup.
The second picture shows the panel covering the lower mesh triangle, and you still have views through the upper solid triangle window. The third picture shows both mesh and solid triangle open, for views and ventilation.
Materials
This is mainly about fabric, and you have some really great details here. So the shell is a very durable 210D, 130T poly oxford with a 420D ripstop grid. The official waterproof rating is simply incredible 10000 mm, designed specifically for conditions in the UK and New Zealand. All seams are taped.
They claim it has an UV rating UPF 100. I have never seen more in any tent, but this is the feature specific to this Pro series, and they say this is the same value that is accepted for materials in the UN refugee camps. The materials are fire retardant as well.
The floor is as 180 g/m² polyethylene, and this is probably with a higher rating than the fly. The inner fabric is a breathable 68D 190T polyester. This is a dark material, and I have included the tent in my list of dark rest tents. As already mentioned, you have tinted PVC windows.
Zippers are anti grit reversed, with glow zip pullers, and with two way zipper heads.
The carry bag: This is a ripstop poly oxford fabric 210D 130T with a 420D ripstop grid, with a draw string and extra large. It is gusseted, and with instruction window sleeve.
The poles: There are aluminum poles in the package as well, one short brim pole for the sides door and 3 straight poles for the awning, each in 3 segments.
Manual pump
A double-action pump is with an aluminum shaft, a pressure gauge, and a pressure release valve. It comes in its own carry bag.
Other details
- Adjustable peg loops.
- Steel D ring peg points.
- Webbing peg points.
- 3.5 mm Polyester cord.
- 45 Pegs 18 cm long and 0.6 cm thick.
- Aluminum tri sliders.
- Front anchor fin.
- Rear anchor fin.
- Reflective guy ropes.
- Removable anchor webbing.
- Safety bright glow.
- Storage options include a bedroom storage ladder and living area storage ladder.
- There are several inner and outer E-cable ports.
- Lantern hanging loops are available.
Ventilation
When this is about ventilation, I would say that only Snow Peak tents can be a good match to this brand and in particular to this Zempire Aero TL PRO Series Tent. It is simply incredible how many venting options you have.
You have already seen about its mesh windows and doors, and the picture below shows the position of those mesh openings, they are light blue areas in the picture. As you realize, they are on all the sides for optimal air circulation.
Of course, when it is raining some of these openings cannot be used. This is why they have added multiple low and high vents. Again, you have them on all the sides, 9 in total, simply amazing. Those are dark blue areas in the pictures.

Warranty
This PRO Series comes with a 4-year guarantee. They claim they will repair or replace the tent, should it fail due to faulty materials or manufacture.
Who is this Zempire Aero TL PRO Series Tent for
Regarding the area, the tent is officially for up to 5 people (2 + 3). The bedrooms offer 80.7 ft² (7.5 m²) and their dimensions are such that there is enough place for 5 sleeping pads on the floor.
The living room offers 106.5 ft² (9.9 m²), and it is fully protected. This room can accommodate at least 5 people more. Note that you still have 54.9 ft² (5.1 m²) in the porch, for all your gear and equipment.
So this is a very generous space and the tent can indeed accommodate more people than what the official capacity tells you.
Regarding seasons & climate, you have already seen how strong fabric is used in the construction of this tent. Its waterproof rating is among the highest that you can find anywhere on the market. The air beams will never break if exposed to wind.
So this is a great 3-season tent suitable for any climate. It is nicely ventilated if you use it in warm conditions.
Regarding the weight, this tent is heavy, it weighs 70.5 lb (32 kg). The packed size is (L x D) 32.3 x 20.1 inches (82 x 51 cm) so it is indeed bulky. All in all, this is a tent for places with a car access.
