Overview
This Bushnell Shower Tent is with an instant setup, and the meaning of this is that its frame is pre-attached to the fabric. So what you see in the picture below is all one single piece. The only separate part is its fly shown in the top picture above, which you attach easily through four buckles.
They claim you can have this shelter ready in 60 seconds, and several steps in the setup procedure are presented in the pictures below. So when you unfold the tent, you simply extend its four telescopic leg poles.
There are two separate rooms inside, one front changing room with a full floor, and a rear shower room with the floor that has mesh on the perimeter so that water can go away, see the picture below.
The external door is double layer with a zippered mesh window and a zippered panel. Note that the shower reservoir is included.
The tent is tall and fully freestanding, but you have stakes and guylines included to secure it properly and fix to the ground. So do not miss doing this, the tent is tall and boxy, not the best shape in the case of a sudden wind.
Other details
- There are wall pouches on the walls in both rooms, one set is shown in the picture.
- One extra fiberglass pole is provided and you can hang it as in the picture and use to place towels.
- Loops for putting a cord are in the dressing room.

Materials
The poles: The frame is all steel, and this includes four telescopic legs with buttons, and four main roof poles connected to the legs, plus two short roof poles.
The fabric: The walls are a silver-coated polyester and the same material is used for the fly. They claim that its heat shield technology blocks UV rays and keeps both rooms cool in the sun. The fabric is with a 600 mm water-resistant coating, and it is also flame-resistant. The floor is a thick polyethylene.
Ventilation
The walls are with a gap of several centimeters from the ground, and the ceiling is all mesh. There are also side mesh vents on the walls, and they are protected with the fly. So this all should create enough of vertical air circulation. There is also the mentioned mesh layer on the front room door so you can use it if necessary.
Who is this Bushnell Shower Tent for
Regarding best use, this is a privacy tent which you can use as an annex next to your family camping tent. The front room can be used also for an outdoor portable toilet. The tent can be used on a beach as well.
Regarding the area, you have 24.7 ft² (2.3 m²) in the two rooms, and this is the same what you have in some of its competitors like Caddis Rapid 2-Room Privacy Shelter and Core Instant Camping Utility Shower Tent. My guess is they all come from the same factory.
Regarding the weight, it can be described as heavy with its 19.3 lb (8.8 kg). But this is similar to its competitors, and the frame here is quite strong.
The packed size is typical for such instant setup shelters, so the carry bag is a bit long, see the picture, and the numbers are given below. You have convenient carry straps and top zipper.
Regarding the price, I would say it is fair for such a product, note that the reservoir is included as well.

Final thoughts, rating, pros & cons
In summary, this Bushnell Shower Tent is well-built and functional. This is a nice and useful addition to a family camping setting, but you can use it also on the beach if you have a car access to it.
Its features are similar to some of its competitors, so it makes sense to compare the prices if you are in search for such a privacy shelter. This is easy to do because it is included in my list of best 2-room outdoor shower tents for camping.
