What this is about
This Core 10 Person Straight Wall Cabin Tent is a structure with straight and steep walls, and it is very tall with its 86 inches (218 cm) peak height. The construction is best understood when you see it without the rain fly in the picture below.
They have several 10-person tents here in the site, and they are of the same base size but there are differences of course. The feature that makes it different from most of the cabin-tents of this brand is its full-coverage fly.
Cabin type tents with such a fly are rare in general. So the fly covers it completely, and you even have a small vestibule in front of one of doors, see the picture.
Note that its general shape and the fly feature is very similar to their CORE 9 Person Instant Cabin Tent with Full Rainfly, and it is easy to mix these two tents. They belong to the same group of full fly tents that Core launched recently. There is also a 6-person version available.
But this 10-person version is not an instant tent. So this is a classic collapsible cabin tent that needs assembly, and all its separate elements are shown below.
The rooms, doors, and windows
The strange official name used in the title is what they use on Amazon, and it is quite misleading. The tent has one removable divider so you can have one or two rooms. I would expect more from a ‘multi-room’ tent.
On the other hand, for a 10-person tent, it is not particularly large, you will see the numbers below. But this brand has so many 10-person tents that they are probably running out of ideas for the names.
The picture below shows how the divider looks, so this is just a curtain and do not expect much privacy here.
But when the divider is closed, both rooms have separate doors. On the other hand, all 6 windows are with mesh and inner zippered panels. See below how this looks. I find this a premium feature here because you do not need such panels with such a full coverage fly. But they may come good if you feel too much draft.
The fly itself has zippered flaps that you can roll up and have views around. So you can regulate privacy in various ways. This is a feature that you will not find in many tents on the market.
Other features include a cable port shown below, and several storage sets on the walls.
Materials
The poles: You have strong steel support poles so the structure is freestanding without the fly. You get 24 stakes that are 7 inches long.
The fabric: The tent is built from a 68D polyester and the waterproof rating is 1200 mm, typical for this brand.
Ventilation
The ceiling is all mesh here, and you have already seen its mesh windows with zippered panels. So you can regulate air circulation. The door under the vestibule can be kept open if you need more air.
However, there are no vents on this gigantic fly. I cannot understand what they were thinking.

Who is it for
Regarding the area, the tent is big, you have 140 ft² (13 m²) of the floored space. The official capacity is 10 people and this means the number of sleeping pads that you can put on the floor. In this case, this would give 14 ft² (1.3 m²) per person.
The vestibule is quite small for such a large tent, it offers around 12 ft² (1.1 m²). This should be for shoes only.
Regarding seasons & climate, the tent is a true 3-season family camping shelter. It is tall and boxy, but the fly goes all the way to the ground, so it can perform good in a variety of weather situations and you will be protected.
The picture below shows how pleasant it looks with all those flaps rolled up.
Regarding the weight, this tent is quite heavy with its 41 lb (18.6 kg). But it is tall and you have the huge fly, so the weight makes sense.
The packed size is a far from bad, see how it looks when packed. The dimensions are 29 x 13 x 13 inches (74 x 33 x 33 cm).
Regarding the price, it is fair for what what you have here. A great value for the money.

Final thoughts, rating, pros & cons
So this CORE Large Multi Room Tent for Family with Full Rainfly 10 Person is nicely built, and it offers a full protection from the elements. The fly and its windows are the best features of this tent.
