Naturehike Village Suite Roof Automatic Tent: Incredible Features

Last Modified: 02/11/2025

The Naturehike Village Suite Roof Automatic Tent is incredibly functional and luxurious with its three rooms, high ceiling, integrated light, and four doors, and it is very easy to use due to its instant design.

Key features & benefits

  • Cabin type.
  • Very tall tent.
  • Freestanding.
  • Instant setup.
  • Modular design with one removable inner tent.
  • Maximum 3 rooms.
  • 4 External doors.
  • 4 + 4 Windows.
  • 2 Removable awnings.
  • Integrated light.

What this is about

This Naturehike Village Suite Roof Automatic Tent is a cabin type family camping tent with steep and straight walls, and an L-shaped base. which you can see in the floor plan below.

From the picture below you realize that the tent is very tall, with a stand-up height practically everywhere.

Floor plan and dimensions.

Note that it is fully freestanding and self-supporting tent, with multiple leg poles and a partial coverage fly that attaches to the legs. This means that you can move it to short distances and rotate in the camp before you secure it to the grown.

Below you can see how it looks without the fly to better understand its structure, and now you can also see the ceiling which is all mesh:

Instant setup

All that you see in the picture above is one single piece. This means that the complete frame with its leg poles and roof poles is one piece, and it is pre-attached to the tent itself.

In other words, here you have an instant setup design at its best, with the main hub element shown in the pictures above (the letter A) and below, two side hub elements, and extendable telescopic poles (the letter C in the picture above).

So in spite of its size, this tent is very easy to setup, you will have it ready in just a few minutes. The main steps are presented below. As mentioned, the fly is added separately.

Because of all these features, I have added it to my list of best instant tents.

Modular design

This is a completely unique design that needs to be described in detail. Namely, the tent comes with one room that has a fully seamed and sealed floor. It is on the floor plan below on the left.

Modular design.
Modular design.

But on the right side bottom you have yet another inner floored room, and this is the part where in fact you have a removable inner tent. The remaining inner room on the right-up is floorless.

Now, you may decide not to use the inner tent, and in this case the whole right-side area is a floorless room where you can keep your camping furniture. So this is why I describe it as a modular design:

  • You can have three rooms of almost the same size (two floored, and one without a floor). But note that you actually have a removable mat included in the package, to use in the floorless room, so it is not completely floorless.
  • Or you can use it with two rooms (one smaller floored, and one much larger without seamed floor and with the mentioned mat used in half of it).

Doors and windows

This tent offers no less than four doors which you can see in the pictures. All of them have windows on the upper part which is double-layer, with a fixed mesh and zippered panels.

There are also four separate double-layer windows, with fixed mesh and zippered panels. This means that their total number is in fact 8.

There are also two inner doors when the inner tent is in place, otherwise it is only one when it is removed. So this is an incredibly luxurious and functional design, but there is much more that adds to this impression.

Two removable awnings

The tent comes with two huge awning flaps that create separate covered areas. The main awning is shown below, and as you see, the area underneath it is protected with two side walls from the tent’s L-shape. The total covered area here is around 43 ft² (4 m²).

However, the awning flap is removable, and this you might use when you expect some strong wind, the second picture shows the tent when the awning flap is unzipped.

But there is yet another awning on one of the tent’s outer sides, you can see it below. It offers around 65.6 ft² (6.1 m²) of the covered area. The second picture shows how the tent looks when the awning is unzipped.

Note that all four 180 cm long awning poles that you see in the pictures are included in the package.

With these awnings you have plenty of covered space to sit outside in the shade, and you can use the space for cooking as well and to keep your camping furniture underneath it as in the picture below.

Lighted tent

You have pre-installed ambient light on the roof poles, the picture below shows how it looks, it is above the ceiling mesh.

The light switch is located in a pocket under the ceiling, the picture below. This is why I have included it in my list of lighted tents.

Materials

All the elements and materials in the package are shown in the picture:

The poles/frame: You have all steel here, this applies to the pre-attached frame and to the included awning poles. You have already seen a picture with roof hub elements, and below you have a few more details related to joints and clips.

Other metal pieces are 22 steel pegs that are 20 cm long. They claim that the guylines tensioners are patented, see the picture.

The fabric: The sewn-in floor and the floor of the removable inner tent are a very durable 300D polyester Oxford. From what I can find around, its waterproof rating is in the range 2000-3000 mm.

The fly and the awnings flaps, together with side walls, are also very durable 210D silver coated Oxford with up to 2000 mm waterproof rating.  They provide a number of certificates about waterproof testing and UV testing, see the picture:

All mesh areas are made of nylon. Note that they claim that the fabric offers the highest UV protection in this industry, with the rate of UPF50+.

There are multiple wall pockets in the rooms to keep small items off ground, and you also have lantern hanging points on the ceiling.

Ventilation

As you have seen, there are no less than 8 large mesh windows, so you can generate as much air circulation as you want. In addition, the ceiling is all mesh, so vapor can escape.

This looks good, but when it rains you have to close all the windows and external doors, and in such situations you would want to have some floor vents that are missing here. But the inner doors can help a bit, so it is not all that bad.

Who is the Naturehike Village Suite Roof Automatic Tent for

Regarding the capacity, there are various statements around, but they all makes no much sense. You have already seen that it has maximum two floored rooms that offer a full protection against insects.

Their dimensions are such that each can accommodate 3 people. This is why I see it as a great 6-person tent and I have included it in my list of best 6 person tents.

But let’s see more details. The room with the fixed floor, on the left below, offers 56.8 ft² (5.28 m²), and only a bit less you have in the room created with the removable inner tent. This configuration is shown in the picture below.

Floor plan showing how to use the tent.
Floor plan showing how to use the tent.

The floorless room offers 62 ft² (5.76 m²) and this is your living area. However, here you can indeed put some extra tent without a fly to have insect protection, and in this case the tent can easily accommodate 9 people.

The total covered inner area is 175.6 ft² (16.3 m²), so this is a very generous and luxurious camping option for 6 people.

I see it perfect for parents with up to 4 kids, and also for two separate couples perhaps even with one small kid each. The physically separated sleeping rooms offers maximum privacy that you can have in a tent.

Also, two separate awnings offer privacy, while in the inner living room you have a great place for sitting together.

Regarding seasons & climate, the tent is with a very good waterproof rating and I see it as a great 3-season camping option.

I would not use it in very windy places, such a partial coverage fly and boxy structure are not really very aerodynamic.

Regarding the weight, this is a very heavy tent with its 72.8 lb (33 kg), so you would not want to carry it long distances. But note that the storage bag is equipped with wheels for easy transport.

The packed size is not its best feature, it is quite bulky, the numbers below. But this is not surprising when you see all that the tent offers.

Regarding the price, it is quite steep, but this is a glamping tent of a high quality. Please check the link below for updates.

Final thoughts, rating, pros & cons

In summary, the Naturehike Village Suite Roof Automatic Tent stands out with its spacious and functional design, offering a comfortable camping experience with its high ceiling, modular layout, and integrated lighting.

Its instant setup makes it easy to use despite its size, and the multiple doors, windows, and awnings provide excellent ventilation and versatility.

While the tent is on the heavier side and lacks floor vents, its sturdy steel frame, waterproof materials, and well-thought-out design make it a reliable option for family or group camping in three-season conditions.

With a balance of luxury and practicality, this tent is ideal for campers seeking a roomy and well-equipped shelter. The combination of full protection, ease of use, and high-end features like built-in lighting and extensive awning coverage justifies its premium price.

Although it is bulky when packed, the included wheels on the storage bag help with transport. Overall, the Naturehike Village Suite Roof Automatic Tent is a solid investment for those looking for a high-quality, spacious, and convenient tent for extended outdoor stays.
