My list of the best Coleman 6 person cabin tents for camping

1. Coleman 6 Person Instant Tent
This is probably the most popular tent they have ever built. It has been around for many years already so there are thousands of reports about it at various online sellers.
The tent is incredibly easy to use and this is because of two important reason. First, this is an instant setup tent with telescopic poles. Second, this is formally a single-layer tent without extra fly, the roof and the walls are already waterproof.
From the picture you realize why it is here, this is a very typical cabin-type tent. The walls are straight and quite steep so you have far more volume inside than in a dome tent of the same base size.
Speaking about the size, you have 87.2 ft² (8.1 m²) of the floored area. Note that you have large two-layer windows with mesh and with zippered panels for protection. The tent is fully freestanding and incredibly affordable.
2. Coleman 6-Person Connectable Tent
I am convinced that this tent is the most unique of all Coleman’s tents. So there are good reasons why it is here. I am showing it here on the left, on the right is a smaller tent that is attached to it.
Now you realize what this is about, you have an excellent example of a connectable tent that can be zipped to three other tents of this type or with smaller 3-person tents from the same series.
This is a cabin type and fully freestanding tent with 4 doors and two separate windows. The doors are double-layer constructions, so you have windows on them as well. In total three of the doors can be used to connect the tent with other tents.
The tent is also with what they call the Fast Pitch design, so you have a hub element attached to the tent, the legs poles are steel and roof poles are fiberglass. The area is 90.4 ft² (8.4 m²), and the peak height is 76 inches (193 cm).
3. Coleman Tenaya Lake 6 Person Fast Pitch Cabin with Cabinets
Here again you have a tall and pleasant tent with almost completely steep walls. They use their fast pitch design with a roof hub element to which the roof poles are connected.
The tent is with a room divider for extra privacy, so technically this is a 2-room tent.
But it has something extra that is mentioned in the name, there are 2 built-in cabinets behind the tent with shelves for extra gear storage. These cabinets are only with the access from inside the tent.
The fly covers the roof only, but this is why you have great views around through its huge windows. Yet another specific feature here is its hinged door equipped with a handle and you have Velcro tabs to keep it in place during the day. You can zip it up completely during the night.
The tent weighs 33.2 lb (15.06 kg) and the carry bag is with wheels. The total floor area is 99 ft² (9.2 m²).
Final thoughts
